Going into the game the challenge was clear - Creighton was going to have to limit Elm Creek's big play ability of the Bulldogs were going to win and advance in the Class C2 bracket.

They did, winning the game 14-8 at Elm Creek, with junior defensive tackle Kyle Berglund playing a key role as run-stopper.
