A long time ago, in a football galaxy a long ways away, Homer was a football power. In fact, the Knights were part of the first-ever playoff field, back in 1975.

In recent years the football fortunes have waned - the Knights haven't been back since 1987 - but this year senior Kody Snyder helped lead his team back into the postsesaon.
