It's sort of funny how we got here, to the finals of the 2013 Metro Conference holiday tournament finals.

Not that it will feature last year's state finalists, three-time defending champion Omaha Central (8-2) and 2012 runner-up Omaha South (9-0). That much we expected, even if it did mean South had to beat the unbeaten, Papillion-LaVista, to get there.
