Holding up under the pressure of trying to repeat its 2011 state title, that of being ranked No. 1 all year and then withstanding a tremendous challenge in the semifinals, Aquinas completed another perfect season in 2012, winning the C-2 state title. Leading the Monarchs to the highest of heights was head coach Ron Mimick, who is honored by Huskerland as the C-2 championship coach for 2012.
